Graphic design for print publication

My client was selected to an accreditation list that provides the opportunity to advertise in an annual publication. Although he has earned this recognition for at least five consecutive years, he had never taken advantage of the advertising opportunity—until now.

Together, we determined the optimal ad size, design, and placement. We studied competitor ads closely, evaluating both design and copy, to identify how best to differentiate his presence. Every word and every design element was intentionally chosen to create a piece that would stand out while remaining true to his brand.

Law firm client’s magazine ad design which was comparatively unique from all other designs in the publication.

The featured image shows both lawyers smiling, a deliberate choice to set them apart from the many ads featuring stern expressions meant to convey seriousness. Instead, we wanted to present them as approachable, kind, and welcoming.

The photo was originally taken outdoors, but the background was removed to keep the focus on their faces. In its place, we designed a custom repeating logo pattern—something unique that hasn’t been seen in other ads.

The written copy follows the same approach: professional yet approachable. Since this publication will reach peers, the tone balances gentleness with seriousness, encouraging readers to feel comfortable and confident referring business.

To ensure accessibility, the location, website, and phone number are included prominently. All logos, including the repeating background, were uploaded as vector files for the highest quality presentation. I used the industry standard technologies to design this advertisement.

If you are in the market for something similar, reach out! I’d love to help!
